1. I get an error "You do not have annotating rights" when I do have annotating rights!

This message is generally displayed when you have tried to edit a document without first checking it out in ManagePoint. Use the Check-in/Check-out feature to check the document out for editing. If the document is still in your queue you may right-click it and select Edit Document.

Ensure that the appropriate Edit permissions have been assigned by your administrator.

2. When I search I get an error "Please Load Volume "?????"

This may occur after you move the library to a new hard disk. You must update the volume label stored in Manage for those records. Select the records (double click the top/left box in the hit list) and click the Update Volume Information button on the hit list toolbar. Then browse to the location of the documents (the document path is available from the Manage Administration tool on the Paths tab).

3. When I search I get an error "Method ~ of object ~"

This occurs when you use a reserved database word for your fieldname(s).

Contact support@redmap.com for instructions to change the fieldname(s).

4. When I search I get an error "Invalid bracketing of [fieldname]"

This occurs when you use a period (.) in your caption name e.g. Account.No. Remove the period in the ManageEzy/ManagePoint Administrator.

5. Error "Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal"

When creating libraries, do not use field captions that contain part of the library or group name e.g. You have a library or group called Clients, do not have a field caption containing "Clients"

When creating libraries, do not create groups with names that are part of the library names e.g. You have a library called Clients, do not create a group called ClientMatters
