1. When I click on a file in my queue I get "Could not find document x:\Managepoint\\q\????????.???"
Your queue is pointing to a file that does not exist in that location, this is usually an orphan queue entry. Select the item’s check box (tick) in the queue, click ok to the error, and select "Delete" from the InputQ menu.
2. I am indexing files, but when I search for them, they are not there!
This is usually a symptom of the Redmap Connector not running, having been misconfigured or having an expired serial key.
Make sure the Connector is running (it should only run on one computer, usually the server). Check the paths, and try restarting the Connector.
Check the following:
- That the Connector is running on the server (Note: It has an icon in the system tray). If the connector is not running, click Start then "Programs" within "Startup" select and run "Connector".
- If the connector is running, try running the ManageEzy/ManagePoint Administration tool. If there are path problems with the library, they will be displayed as integrity errors by the Administration tool on logon. Check the connector log and send it to Redmap Support if there are errors there.
- Close the Connector down then start it up again by clicking "Start" then "Programs" within "Startup" select and run "Connector".
- Check the ManageEzy/ManagePoint logs folder for errored documents and move them back into the sessions folder to be re-indexed.
3. I get an error "You do not have annotating rights" when I do have annotating rights!
This message is generally displayed when you have tried to edit a document without first checking it out in ManagePoint. Right-click the document in your inputQ queue and select "Edit Document".
Ensure that the appropriate Edit permissions have been assigned by your administrator.
