1. Should I run the ManageEzy/ManagePoint Client installation at the end of the ManageEzy/ManagePoint Server install?

Yes. You must manually install the client after the Manage server install. The client installation file is located in the \\servername\Manage\MFiles\Client folder.

The client install must be run on the server in order for the Redmap Connector to function correctly.

2. Must I reboot the server after running both the ManageEzy/ManagePoint server and client installs?

Yes. You must reboot the server after the completion of ManageEzy/ManagePoint server install and again after the client install.

3. Should the server be rebooted after the installation of the ManageEzy/ManagePoint service pack?

Yes. It is important that the server is rebooted after the service pack install.

4. Error creating process . Reason: The system cannot find the file specified.

You have an older version of Windows Installer on the PC. Browse the Manage installation CD for the Update\Windows Installer folder.

If the PC is running Windows 95/98/ME, run the file InstMsiA.exe located in the Win9xME folder.

If the PC is running Windows NT or Windows 2000, run the file InstMsiW.exe loacted in the WinNT2k folder.

Follow the installation prompts. When completed, re-run the Manage client installation.
