Integration
Redmap’s architecture is designed around the concept of integration.
By integration we mean, utilising existing systems and core business data to connect intellectual property to system records.
Invaluable intellectual property is often buried on paper and in emails, and once it is made easily accessible it can be harnessed to the organisation’s advantage.
Commonly, the existing systems to which Redmap integrates are CRM or ERP solutions. Read more...
Compliance - Electronic Records Management
Redmap’s complete electronic records management and archiving solutions enable an organisation to securely store and quickly access all their business documents (regardless of their format), thus fulfilling corporate governance and compliance regulations. These records include email, paper and electronic records.
Corporate governance and legal compliance also require organisations to adhere to a well defined Records Management Policy. Typically, an organisation’s policy sets out the principles that must be followed to ensure that they comply with legal, regulatory and other requirements governing the use and retention of electronic records. For most organisations, adhering to these policies is extremely difficult.
The document policy, or electronic records management, must specifically cover records of communication, which include, but are not limited to, notes, letters, emails, videos, drawings, photographs, computer disks, CD ROMs and any other form of electronic storage, such as hard drives or servers.
Examples of specific legal and regulatory requirements are:
- Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) – International law.
- SEC Rules 17a-3 & 17a-4 – International law
- Federal Electronic Transaction Act – Australian law
- Corporations Act – various international laws
- Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) – European law
- Turnbull Report – European Law
- Companies Act – International Law
